How can E-Hub help me?
E-Hub can simplify any task which lends itself to computer automation,
such as holding reconciliation since it requires no analytical
thought, but plenty of number-crunching.
The future plans for E-Hub are extensive, with plenty of opportunity
to speed up your everyday jobs.
What does it do?
The IA reconciliation module of E-Hub works as a gateway to product
providers and fund supermarket systems to automatically update
transaction details, contributions, unit allocations and prices
held in IA Office. This replaces the manual efforts that would
otherwise be required to keep client details up-to-date and
to provide valuations on demand for clients.
Similarly, APA can be reconciled against Lawshare data to highlight
any discrepancies just by clicking a button, saving valuable
time.
The Future
The potential for E-Hub is enormous, with more and more effort
being put in by many companies to harness the power of the Internet.
As IMVS is an ORIGO standards holder, we can interface to any
ORIGO-compliant product provider easily, plus any proprietary
message format such as that used by Cofunds.
Development of Straight-Through Processing to speed up the order
process for MDO/APA is planned for 2004. MDO and E-Hub have been
built with the foundations already in place for this switch,
so we will be able to adapt quickly to help save you more time.
